Xiao Hou is a Los Angeles–based production sound mixer, sound editor, and sound designer. His work has been recognized with nominations and awards at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and the Academy Awards.

He is a voting member of the Grammy Awards, an associate member of the Cinema Audio Society, and a member of the Audio Engineering Society.

Born and raised in an artistic family in China, Xiao moved to the United States at 24 to pursue his passion for sound. He earned his Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015 and has since dedicated his career to bringing stories to life through sound.
